Get Involved

The most impactful way to support the Great Hoosier Forest Project right now is by helping us secure land that we can all work together to revitalize.
Your donations of funds or property will help us begin transforming our landscape for the better. Until we have forested parcels under protection, traditional volunteer work is limited. But not to worry, there are still plenty of ways to get involved!

If you're concerned about the future of Indiana’s forests, especially in light of logging proposals in places like the Hoosier National Forest, contributing to land acquisition is the most powerful action you can take. That said, we are building a community of future volunteers who care deeply about the land. Volunteers will eventually have opportunities to spend time in nature, observe native wildlife and plant life, and help identify invasive species. To support our mission, please visit our donation page — and if you’d like to stay informed about volunteer opportunities in your area, you can sign up to be added to our list!
